Viks Dugar joined Investcorp when Investcorp Group acquired IDFC Alternatives in February 2019. Previously, Dugar joined IDFC Alternatives in 2014. He has over twelve years of experience across private equity investing, portfolio management and exit, financial reporting, audit and taxation. Prior to joining IDFC Alternatives, Dugar was part of the Investment team at Pinebridge Investments, the erstwhile Private Equity arm of American International Group (AIG). During the four years at Pinebridge, he worked on investments across sectors including healthcare, cleantech, engineering, infrastructure and auto components. Prior to that, he was part of the financial audit function of Coca Cola India Inc where he led a team to audit more than 12 bottling plants of the FMCG major. Mr. Dugar started his career with the finance department at Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. where he acquired diverse experience in financial planning, corporate accounts and taxation during his two years stint. He holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore, a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), University of Delhi and has cleared all the three levels of the CFA examinations conducted by CFA Institute, USA. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and was an all India rank holder in all the three ICAI examinations.
