Bio

Ramzi T. AbdelJaber is Investcorp’s Chief Administrative Officer, which sees him lead a range of functions including Corporate Development, Administration / Infrastructure, Human Resources, Executive Compensation and Technology. He is a member of the Firm’s Operating Committee and chairs the Internal Audit Council, Human Resources Council, and Technology Advisory Council. He has more than 25 years of strategy, business building, and senior management experience, with a particular focus on the financial services sector. Ramzi joined Investcorp in 2004. During his time at the Firm, Ramzi has held a number of leadership positions including Head of Business Development worldwide and Chief of Staff for the Placement and Relationship Management (PRM) function. Prior to joining Investcorp, Ramzi was a consultant with McKinsey & Co.’s Silicon Valley Office in Palo Alto, CA. He has also worked with Accenture (Andersen Consulting) in the Middle East. In addition to his position at Investcorp, Ramzi serves on the Regional Board of Directors of INJAZ Al Arab. He is also the Chairman of Investcorp Investments LLC (incorporated in the Qatar Financial Center). Formerly, he served on the Management Committee of the GCC Board Directors Institute and was part of Jordan’s E-government taskforce appointed by HM King Abdullah II of Jordan. Ramzi is a former Young Presidents’ Organization member. Ramzi holds an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He also holds a B.Sc. in Computer Information Systems (with Honors and Highest Distinction) from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington.
