Bio

Nosh Irani is an experienced investment professional with nearly 15 years of experience in private equity, infrastructure investing and investment banking, including originating, analyzing, and negotiating asset and corporate acquisitions, executing debt financings and tax-equity financings. At Instar Nosh is responsible for evaluating, negotiating and structuring investment opportunities and acquisitions from the company’s Denver office. Nosh was previously a Principal with Ares Management LLC where he was responsible for new deal origination and investment management, in their Energy Infrastructure Private Equity group. Focused on the U.S. midstream, renewable energy, conventional power generation, LNG export and power transmission sectors, Nosh managed all aspects of deal evaluation, execution and asset management, including financial analysis, due diligence and negotiate purchase and sale, partnership, operating and financing agreements. He also worked closely with management and operations teams to drive value creation opportunities across multiple portfolio companies. Prior to joining Ares Management LLC, Nosh worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Energy & Utilities group at Deutsche Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Arts, Economics & Business Administration from Washington and Lee University.
