Cathy Xue has over 8 years of principal investing, asset management and investment banking experience in the infrastructure sector, focused on mobility and connectivity. As Vice President at Instar, Cathy contributes to the origination, evaluation, negotiation and structuring of acquisitions and investment opportunities. Cathy also plays an important role in the asset management of Instar’s portfolio companies, including AMPORTS, Inc. Prior to joining Instar, Cathy was an Investment Banking Analyst with Deutsche Bank’s Natural Resources Group, where she focused on the power and utilities sector and performed financial and valuation analyses to support financing and M&A transactions. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Cornell University and a Master of Finance degree from MIT Sloan School of Management.
