Brian Seong has over 8 years of principal investing, asset management and investment banking experience in the infrastructure sector, focused on energy and mobility. As Vice President at Instar, Brian play an important role in the origination, evaluation, negotiation and structuring of investment opportunities. Brian also serves as a key member of the asset management team responsible for JET Infrastructure. Prior to joining Instar, Brian was a Private Equity Associate in the infrastructure group at Allstate Investments where he was responsible for executing investment opportunities in the energy and mobility sectors. Prior to Allstate, Brian was an Investment Banking Analyst with Citigroup’s Global Energy Group, where he performed financial, valuation and industry analysis and played a key role in supporting mergers, acquisitions, restructuring transactions and equity financings in the energy sector. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Economics and Finance from Ryerson University.
