Nikhil Sachdev joined Insight in 2020 and focuses on high-growth software companies. Nikhil helps lead new venture and growth stage investments, and also has experience with leveraged buyouts. Prior to joining Insight, Nikhil was a Partner at Altimeter Capital, a long/short equity hedge fund that invests in public and private companies in the software and Internet sectors. At Altimeter, Nikhil sourced, led, and executed investments in multiple high growth private companies across the Software-as-a-Service, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, Internet marketplace, gaming, and social media categories. Previously, Nikhil worked in private equity at Bain Capital Partners and Providence Equity. Before moving into investing, Nikhil was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs focused on technology clients. Nikhil holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA Honors from Stanford University. Nikhil’s personal interests include being active outdoors (running, hiking, snowboarding, biking, golf), reading novels, and exploring cities with great food.
