Bio

Eliot is a Senior Partner and the Chief Structuring Officer at Insight Equity. Prior to Insight Equity, Eliot served as Turnaround Manager for Bay State Paper Company while the company was in Chapter 11. Previously, Eliot was an Associate at Jupiter Partners, a New York-based private equity fund. While at Jupiter, he worked extensively with portfolio company management teams, evaluated numerous potential transactions and executed over $350 million of portfolio company refinancings, add-on acquisitions and leveraged buyouts. Before joining Jupiter, Eliot was an investment banker with Merrill Lynch in their global communications group in New York. While with Merrill, he was involved in executing over $35 billion of strategic acquisitions and debt and equity financings. Eliot graduated with honors from Texas A&M University where he received a BBA in Finance. Eliot completed his MBA at Harvard Business School, where he graduated with Distinction. Eliot currently serves on the Board of the general partner of Emerge Energy Services LP, American Civil Constructors, Plasman Group, Micross Components, MB Precision Investment Holdings, Dustex Holdings, Panolam, Riverbend Foods, and VirTex Investment Holdings. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the DFW Private Equity Forum, Casa Del Lago, and was formerly a director of the BraveLove and the Prison Entrepreneurship Program.
