Mr. Hobson has an over thirty year career. building and leading teams of finance executives that intensely focus on the imperative of value creation while working hand-in-glove with operating executives to solve problems, develop and execute on value creating strategies selflessly and creatively. He has deep experience in leading and structuring transactions in capital structures across varying economic cycles. Since 2016, Mr. Hobson is a Partner of Innovatus Capital Partners, LLC, serves as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer and is a voting member of the Investment Committee. He oversees all accounting and finance functions for the firm. From 1994-2015, Mr. Hobson was Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Univision Communications Inc. His long and successful tenure at Univision began as a member of the senior three-person team responsible for executing A. Jerrold Perenchio’s leveraged buyout acquisition of Univision from Hallmark Cards in 1992. At varying times during his time at Univision, Mr. Hobson was responsible for financial reporting, tax, treasury, risk management, financial and strategic planning, capital allocation, banking, investor relations, affiliate relations, information technology, procurement, human resources, and corporate administration. Mr. Hobson received a B.S.E. with majors in both finance and accounting, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
