Andreas Bäckman joined Infracapital in 2014 and has more over 10 years' experience across infrastructure M&A and finance. Prior to joining Infracapital, Andreas was a member of the Barclays Power, Utilities & Infrastructure Investment Banking team for more than three years providing advice to clients on M&A, equity and debt transactions. During this time, Andreas specialised in regulated assets with particular focus on Northern Europe. Andreas also has experience working in the DCM and Equity Derivatives Origination team at Citi as well as with an investment management firm focusing on Scandinavian buyouts. Andreas holds a First Class Honours degree in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham. Andreas is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
