Malcolm is a Partner based in the Manchester office where he works on investments across a broad range of sectors with a particular focus on industrial products. Since joining Inflexion in 2007, Malcolm has led investments in Aspen Pumps, Creative Car Park and Calco, where he holds board positions, as well as investments in Bollington Wilson Group, UK Power Reserve, CTC Aviation Group, Rhead Group, Ideal Shopping Direct, Vivona Brands and SMD, and the successful exits of CP Electronics and Harrington Brooks. Malcolm is also responsible for developing Inflexion’s presence in the Benelux regions, alongside Sander Ruijter. In the past he has been heavily involved in much of Inflexion’s successful fundraising. Malcolm began his career at Deloitte where he gained his ACA, followed by time in the M&A team at Rothschild. He is a keen sportsman, though given his young family nowadays he is more of an armchair fan. Despite living in Manchester and his colleague’s best attempts, he remains an avid Chelsea fan. He has an MA in Social and Political Sciences from Cambridge University.
