Mr. Hobbs has served as the Chief Investment Officer of Chambers Interests since July 1999. He oversees the public and private investment portfolio for the firm. Prior to joining Chambers Interests, Mr. Hobbs served as a Vice President in Merrill Lynch's Institutional National Sales division. He was also an associate in Salomon Brothers' Private Investment Department from 1993 to 1995. Mr. Hobbs has earned a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas, Austin. He serves on the board of directors of several privately held companies, on the Advisory Board for the Center for Private Equity Finance at the University of Texas, The Executive Committee of the Industrial Minerals Association of North America and a member of The Young President’s Organization.
