Bio

Sophie Durham is a Managing Director of Igneo Infrastructure Partners based in London. She is the Head of ESG. Prior to joining the team in 2021, she worked at listed oil and gas company Kosmos Energy, where she was responsible for climate change and global public policy, and previously social performance at several of the company’s assets in West Africa. Prior to joining Kosmos, Sophie was a Senior Associate at Critical Resource, an advisory firm that supports mining and oil and gas companies to manage social and political risk. Sophie holds a BA in Geography from the University of Cambridge and an MA from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London.
