Bio

Sameera is an Associate Director within the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team ("Igneo"). She is based in New York and has been with the team since 2022. Sameera is responsible for transaction origination, execution and related asset management activities. Prior to joining Igneo, Sameera was a senior associate at JLC Infrastructure, where she focused on infrastructure investments, particularly within the transportation and energy sectors. During this time, Sameera worked on the John F. Kennedy Airport New Terminal One project well as other infrastructure investments. Prior to JLC Infrastructure, Sameera worked as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC ("GS"), where she focused on M&A and project finance transactions in the transportation, public-private partnerships, and industrial sectors. Prior to GS, Sameera worked within the energy investment banking group at UBS Investment Bank. Sameera holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
