Thiago Silva is Managing Director and Co-Head of Infrastructure. He is a member of the Infrastructure Investment committee and responsible for the origination of new investments and relationships with IG4 LPs and co-investors. Prior to joining IG4 in 2022, Thiago was a Director at Ontario Teachers Pension Plan (OTPP) Infrastructure and Natural Resources group (2008 – 2021) where he led the origination, execution and asset management of new investments around the world, most recently based in London. Thiago was also a non-executive board member of the Birmingham airport in the UK (2018-2021) and Koole Terminals in the Netherlands (2018-2019). Prior to joining OTPP, Thiago was an Associate at Brookfield Asset Management (2004-2008) Private Equity team and was involved in the execution of new investment opportunities across real estate, private equity, and infrastructure reporting to Sam Pollock. Before moving to Canada in 2001 to pursue his MBA, Thiago started his career at Braskem where he was a Controller of one of its divisions. Thiago holds an MBA from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial (FEI).
