Bio

Jean-Paul Veiga da Rocha is the Chief Regulatory Officer of the IG4 Operations Team. He is also a Professor at the Law School of the University of São Paulo (USP) and a Legal Consultant at Portugal Ribeiro Advogados. He served as General Counsel and Chief Regulatory Officer at Iguá Saneamento S.A. (2017-2019). Prior to that role, Jean-Paul was an Associate General Counsel for Regulatory and Antitrust Law at Brasil Telecom S.A. (2006-2009). He also worked in the launching of the new São Paulo Law School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-SP), where he worked as Academic Coordinator and Professor of Economic Law (2002-2006). Jean-Paul holds an LLB and a Ph.D. in Economic Law from the University of São Paulo and was a Visiting Scholar at Yale Law School as well as a Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
