Bio

Torsten is a Managing Director and joined the team as a Director in 2021. Torsten has 30 years of professional experience. Torsten started his professional career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, Inc. Prior to joining iCON, he held various senior management positions in the transportation and logistics sector in Germany and in France working for Hapag-Lloyd, Algeco, LPR and Touax. Torsten is primarily focused on overseeing investments across iCON’s funds. Torsten holds a Master’s degree in Physics (University of Grenoble (France)) and a PhD in Semiconductor Physics (Technical University of Berlin). He also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Technical University of Berlin).
