Bio

Deryk is a Managing Partner and one of iCON’s founding members. Deryk is a member of iCON’s Management Board and the iCON Investment Committee. Deryk is the Chairman of general partners within the iCON group of funds. Deryk joined the team in 2011. Deryk has over 30 years of CEO and board level experience. Before joining iCON, Deryk was Chairman and CEO of Direct Energy (North America). Deryk was also previously Group Managing Director and a board member at Powergen plc and held various senior management roles with the ICI Group. Deryk holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry (Oxford) and is a graduate of the INSEAD Advanced Management Programme.
