Nikhil has ~20 years of experience in Private Equity investing and Business Consulting across sectors. Prior to joining ICICI Venture in November 2017, Nikhil spent 12 years with The Carlyle Group based in Mumbai. In his last assignment as Director – Asia Growth Capital, he led several growth capital investments in India for the Carlyle Group. He has successfully made investments in businesses across financial services, pharmaceutical-healthcare, technology and manufacturing sectors. Prior to joining Carlyle, Nikhil worked with McKinsey & Company for 4 years on consulting engagements with senior managements of Fortune 500 and other leading companies across consumer, banking, chemicals, oil and gas and telecom. He has worked across multiple functions such as strategy, operations, business building and organization. Nikhil is a Graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi and a Post Graduate Diploma holder in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
