Ravindra joined ICICI Venture in September 2000. His role involves providing investment / transaction advisory services to the investment and corporate teams across various practices at ICICI Venture in the areas of investment evaluation, transaction structuring, portfolio management and divestment, fund raising, fund structuring and other organizational matters. He works closely with the investment and corporate teams at ICICI Venture in establishing operating and governance processes and optimizing returns from the investment portfolio. Prior to joining ICICI Venture, Ravindra worked with the erstwhile ICICI Ltd. (since merged with ICICI Bank) for over 12 years in the corporate credit function. His responsibilities at ICICI included developing and maintaining client relationships in a wide range of industries, cross selling ICICI Group products, working out innovative financing solutions for clients, restructuring stressed assets, etc. He has handled both equity and debt related products during his tenure at ICICI, and headed ICICI’s Hyderabad Zonal office before moving to ICICI Venture in September 2000. Ravindra holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
