In addition to being involved in all aspects of making new investments, Mr. Huston handles the firm's relationship with the Small Business Administration. He serves on the Board of Directors of Laguna Tools, GWTT, Tri-W, Soft-Tex, and MeTEOR Education, and previously served on the Board of Directors of ASAP Industries and Percheron Holdings. Prior to co-founding Hudson Ferry Capital, Mr. Huston was a Managing Director and founding member at Liberty Capital Partners, a leading middle market private equity firm. Preceding Liberty's founding, he was an investment banker at Merrill Lynch Interfunding, a private equity subsidiary of Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Huston began his business career in 1982 as a staff accountant with Coopers & Lybrand where he advanced to the position of audit manager. Over the last 25 years, Mr. Huston has served on the boards of numerous privately held companies. He currently is a member of the Board of Trustees of Fairfield University, where he served as Chairman from 2002-2012. Mr. Huston received an MBA from Columbia University and a BS in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Fairfield University.
