Mr. Pogoda is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2020, Mr. Pogoda was Head of North America and Managing Director at 23 Capital, a sports, media, and entertainment specialty finance investment platform. Prior to 23 Capital, Mr. Pogoda was a Partner at Evolution Media Capital (“EMC”), where he was responsible for the origination, structuring, and execution of media and entertainment, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions. Prior to EMC, Mr. Pogoda was a Vice President at Merrill Lynch Alternative Assets in the Entertainment & Intellectual Property Structured Finance Group. Previously, Mr. Pogoda was a Vice President at Cerberus Capital Management in the Special Situation Lending division. Mr. Pogoda holds a BA in Finance from the University of Maryland and completed The General Course at the London School of Economics.
