Ole Ertvaag is the founder of HitecVision. His main role is leading the strategic development of HitecVision’s investment activities, using his more than 30 years of energy industry investment and M&A experience, and has a key role in any decision regarding potential new investments or exits, the strategic development and positioning of portfolio companies, as well as in their financing and leverage structures. Prior to founding HitecVision in 2000, Ole was the Chief Financial Officer of the oilfield technology company Hitec ASA (HitecVision’s predecessor) from 1989, and later also its Chief Operating Officer. Ole has a business education from the Norwegian School of Management.
