Bio

Erlend Basmo Ellingsen joined HitecVision in 2016 from Statoil (now Equinor) where he held various positions within M&A, business development and strategy. Erlend currently focuses on energy transition and renewables investments, most recently the establishment of Vårgrønn. He was also engaged in the acquisition of Hafslund Oslo Varme and the establishment of Aneo, in partnership with Trønder Energi. In his first years with the company he was on the teams responsible for developing HitecVision’s E&P companies Vår Energi and NEO Energy. Erlend holds an MSc in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University, USA and a BSc in Engineering from Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Toulouse, France.
