John Weiler co-founded Hillcore Real Estate Investments in 2003. As Managing Director, John oversees the group’s operations including acquisition sourcing, asset financing, arranging joint venture partnerships and asset management. Previously, John founded and held the position of President at Whitecap Consulting Ltd. Whitecap is a private investment group focusing on real estate acquisitions, development and asset management. Whitecap, in joint partnership with both European and Canadian investors, has had a very successful record acquiring and developing Canadian real estate. Before founding Whitecap Consulting, John was a strategy consultant in the Toronto office of Bain and Company, focusing on the sales and marketing practice as well as the operational improvement practice. John holds a Masters in Business Administration from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago as well as an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from the University of Toronto.
