David is a Managing Director for the buyout and late-stage investment team, responsible for identifying, evaluating and executing new investment opportunities. Prior to joining HighPost in July 2023, David was a Partner at North Castle Partners, a private equity firm focused on investments in consumer-driven product and service businesses based in Greenwich, CT. Over his 16 years at North Castle, David focused his efforts on the execution and oversight of private equity investments across a variety of sectors including fitness, health & beauty services, franchising, weight management, veterinary health, amongst others. He served on the boards of Barry’s, CR Fitness, Encore Vet Group, EWC Growth, HydroMassage and Mack Weldon. In addition, David worked closely with the members of the executive management teams of the firms’ investments in Curves, Flatout, International Fitness, Ibex, Jenny Craig, Kettlebell Kitchen and Mynd Spa & Salon. David also led North Castle’s new employee recruiting, training and development efforts. Prior to joining North Castle in 2007, David worked as an Analyst in investment banking in the retail and consumer group at Credit Suisse. David earned a B.B.A. with high distinction in Finance and Accounting from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
