Bio

Dave joined HighPost Capital as a Senior Managing Director responsible for Portfolio Company Operations. Since 2002, Dave has been a Partner with Falconhead Capital, a private equity firm focused on control growth equity buyouts in the consumer, leisure and lifestyle sector, where he participated in industries ranging from food & beverage, sporting & media, fitness and consumer goods. Dave has enjoyed a long and varied career across both operations and acquisitions having served in a number of senior executive roles in publicly-listed as well as privately-held companies across many industries including financial services and consumer. He served as Chairman and Director of a Miami based HMO, Neighborhood Health Partnership, Inc and helped structure and participated in its buy-out; served as Chairman and Lead Independent Director of a NASDAQ listed time-share company, Sunterra Corporation (“SNRR”); and was the principal owner of and built the first internet service provider forthe cruise maritime industry, Digital Seas International Inc. Dave started his career in 1982 with Whitehall Financial Group, the Moross family office, which included making control investments in operating companies. He rose to the position of Chairman and CEO in 1989 of the financial services operating group which included several A+ rated life insurance, health and annuity companies, which eventually became listed on the NYSE as Life Partners Group Inc (“LPG”), and were sold in 1996 to Conseco Inc. Subsequently in 1997, he led mergers and acquisitions in North America for Fortis Inc, which completed the acquisitions of John Alden and American Bankers Life Insurance companies. He served as a senior executive for Norwegian Cruise Line Holding ASA, in which Whitehall had a significant investment, which was sold in a hostile take-over in 2000. In 2001, he joined Gary Wendt as part of the senior executive team at Conseco Inc. to assist with their turnaround plan. He currently serves as a director of ExlService.com India Ltd, a business management and analytics company based in New Delhi, India. He has served on the boards of Maritime Telecommunications Network, LLC; Extreme Fitness Inc; Javo Beverage Company Inc; GPS iHoldings, LLC; and Multi-Flow Industries, LLC.
