Bio

William Connell co-founded High Road in 2007 and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Advanced Sleep Medicine Services; he previously served on the Board of Directors of The Crown Group, Milwaukee Gear, Handi Quilter, and PANOS brands. Bill is a lead transaction partner responsible for reviewing investment opportunities and managing portfolio company investments. Bill has completed five platform company acquisitions (Milwaukee Gear, Advanced Sleep Medicine Services, PANOS brands, Handi Quilter, and The Crown Group) and four platform company exits (Milwaukee Gear, Handi Quilter, PANOS brands, and The Crown Group). Previously, Bill was a Vice President with The Riverside Company. Bill was with Riverside from 2002 through 2006 and was involved in five acquisitions and three exits, and served on the Board of Directors of four portfolio companies. Prior to joining Riverside in 2002, Bill spent five years at Connell Limited Partnership, a holding company that owns controlling interests in several manufacturing companies. Bill worked in finance and operations at Connell Limited Partnership. Bill graduated from Boston College in 1994 with a B.A. in English, and received his M.B.A from Harvard Business School in 2002.
