Mr. Gadelho began his career in the real estate division of GP Investimentos in 2005 and was part of the founding team of Prosperitas Investimentos, where he remained until 2007. He returned to the team, now HSI, in 2019 to establish the mortgage lending practice. His responsibilities include origination, analysis, negotiations, structuring, execution, and portfolio management. Before returning to HSI, Mr. Gadelho was an executive at Rothschild & Co. where he participated in over USD 20 billion in M&A transactions, including: the sale of Grupo Posadas’ South American hotel portfolio to Accor (USD 274 million), sale of industrial services division of Mills (Priner) to Leblon Equities, sale of 10% stake in BM&F to General Atlantic (USD 534 million), merger of Citrosuco and Citrovita, IPO of BM&F (USD 3.4 billion), and merger of BM&F and Bovespa (USD 10 billion). Mr. Gadelho was also a founding partner of BR Retail, where he was responsible for fundraising, acquisitions of small and medium-size retailers, and portfolio management.
