At HSI since 2005, Mr. Gaiad participated in the execution of the firm’s entire track record, coordinating the real estate investment team, leading investment analysis, and closing new transactions. His experience includes acquisitions and greenfield development of real estate assets. His track record includes: the successful development of the ECO Berrini high-rise office building (LEED Platinum, São Paulo); the acquisition of a portfolio of warehouses from Bracor Investimentos Imobiliários and its subsequent sale to GLP; the formation of a joint venture with Saphyr Shopping Centers and its growth; and the creation of GoodStorage. He also manages investments to optimize asset performance and efficiency, with an eye on preparing assets for divestment. Prior to joining HSI, Mr. Gaiad worked as a trader in the treasury divisions of Bozano Simonsen and Bank of America.
