Bio

Ms Carrena has 22 years of relevant professional experience. Prior to joining Helios in September 2022, she spent 10 years at Stanbic IBTC Capital, where she was an Executive Director and Head of Corporate Finance. Previously, she was a Vice President in the Private Equity and Advisory team at Travant Capital Partners, a private equity and advisory firm in Nigeria; and earlier in her career worked at Ocean and Oil Holdings, Accenture, and Procter and Gamble in Nigeria. She holds an MSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Alberta in Canada, a BSc in Economics from the University of Lagos in Nigeria and is a CFA charterholder. A Nigerian national, Ms Carrena speaks Yoruba.
