Bio

Simon is a Co-Founder and serves as a Managing Partner at Headwater Equity Partners. Simon has over 30 years’ experience in the financial industry having sourced, negotiated, executed and exited numerous private equity and mezzanine investments and served as both Chairman and Board member of a number of portfolio companies. Prior to founding Headwater Equity Partners, Simon served as the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Merchant Banking at HSBC Capital (Canada). He began his career at KPMG, where he was a manager in the Financial Institutions Group in Vancouver. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of British Columbia.
