Mr. Gibaratz is Managing Director at HCI Equity Partners, focusing on the diligence, acquisition and management of our portfolio companies. Current portfolio companies that he is actively involved with include AmerCareRoyal, Summit Interconnect, The Delaney Hardware Company and Naumann/Hobbs Material Handling, Inc. Prior to joining HCI Equity in 2004, Mr. Gibaratz spent 11 years in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Merrill Lynch, in New York, Chicago and London. While at Merrill Lynch, Mr. Gibaratz advised on over 50 mergers, acquisitions and financing transactions across a variety of industry sectors. Mr. Gibaratz spent a significant portion of his advisory career focusing on the manufacturing sector and working with companies in the automotive, capital goods, specialty and general industrial equipment sectors. Mr. Gibaratz received his Master of Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management, graduating with Distinction, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan, graduating with Distinction.
