Mr. Dickinson is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at HCI Equity Partners and oversees the origination, management, and development of the Firm's investments. HCI has managed equity commitments of over $1.6 billion to support management in growing middle-market industrial companies. Prior to joining HCI Equity, Mr. Dickinson was the Co-Head of Global M&A at Merrill Lynch. He also had roles as Head of European M&A and Head of Global Manufacturing and Services M&A at Merrill and started his career in the M&A Group at The First Boston Corporation (now Credit Suisse). Mr. Dickinson also serves on the Board of Directors of Caterpillar, Inc., on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Foundation, the Board of Visitors for the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University and is the President of the Board of Trustees of the Cove School (a K-12 school special education school). Mr. Dickinson has both a Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, magna cum laude, from Duke University.
