John is focused on the property management side of the business, working on site acquisitions, lease negotiations and tenant management. Prior to that, he founded Harrington & Co., a Commercial Real Estate Advisory Practice which was established in Dublin in 2002. Harrington & Co. provides Commercial Real Estate services to a mix of private individuals, property companies, commercial entities, public bodies and family offices. Principal areas of activity include commercial property acquisition and disposal, investment and development appraisal, valuations, rent reviews, lease renewals, landlord and tenant law, lease negotiations and restructurings, property management, project management and property development, as well as devising and delivering corporate property strategies and nationwide property acquisition and disposal programmes. John is a Chartered Surveyor and a former Associate Partner in Harrington Bannon, now BNP Paribas Real Estate, with over 20 years experience in Commercial Real Estate, including many of Ireland’s largest scale commercial developments. John is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, The Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, An Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Graduate of University College Dublin.
