Bio

Grant is a Principal and is on the Investment team at Hastings. Grant initially joined Hastings in 2014 as a Vice President and re-joined the firm in 2020. Prior to re-joining Hastings Equity Partners, Grant was a Vice President at H.I.G. Capital where he focused on making equity investments in a variety of middle market businesses out of H.I.G.'s $1 Billon LBO Fund V. While at H.I.G. Grant focused on companies in the industrial, business service, and consumer product industries. Prior experience includes working as an Associate for NGP Energy Technology Partners, which is part of Natural Gas Partners and a strategic partner of The Carlyle Group, making growth and buyout investments. Grant started his career as an investment banking analyst at Harris Williams & Company, where he focused on technology and energy M&A deals. Grant received his BA in both Economics and Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Duke University where he was a Fuqua Scholar.
