Arafat joined Harwood Capital LLP in April 2018 as Group Head of Compliance. Arafat has over 25 years’ experience in compliance having spent eight years at the Financial Services Authority (FSA), where he worked on projects such as developing the UK’s permissions regime. After leaving the FSA, he went on to work for several leading financial institutions including Royal Bank of Canada Private Wealth Management Limited in 2007 and Permal Investments Management Ltd in 2010.
