Mr. Choi joined the firm in 2013. As a Managing Director in the Investor Relations group, he is responsible for business development and capital formation in the Asia Pacific regions. Mr. Choi has raised institutional capital from investors based in North America and Asia Pacific on behalf of the firm’s products globally. Mr. Choi has also worked in portfolio management for the Harrison Street Core Property Fund, an open-ended commingled fund focused exclusively in alternative real estate in the United States. Prior to joining Harrison Street, Mr. Choi worked at MSCI, a leading provider of benchmarking and portfolio analysis services to the institutional investment management industry. In that role, he focused on client consultancy, business development, and product development. Mr. Choi holds a B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics and is a CFA charterholder. Mr. Choi is an active member of Pension Real Estate Association (“PREA”), Institutional Real Estate (“IREI”) Asia Pacific, and Asian Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles (“ANREV”).
