Bio

Mr. Bonitatibus joined the firm in 2019. As a Director and Controller in the Portfolio Accounting & Reporting group, he is responsible for financial and investor reporting of the firm’s Core Fund. He oversees the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated fund reporting to investors, as well as, assisting with the coordination of the annual audit and tax process between operating partners and the fund’s auditors. He also works directly with Portfolio Management to discuss fund liquidity, including investor capital calls, distributions and general fund cash flow activity. Prior to joining Harrison Street, Mr. Bonitatibus was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, working in the real estate and financial services assurance practice. He was responsible for the planning, execution and overall coordination of financial statement audits and SEC registration statements for both public and private companies. Mr. Bonitatibus holds a BSBA in Accountancy from John Carroll University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Illinois CPA Society.
