Bio

Mr. Sechen joined the firm in 2015 and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee. As Chief Information Officer, he works to align his group’s strategy to that of the firms. He leads initiatives focused on the firm’s technology, data, process, and information security needs as well as leading initiatives for M&A activities. Prior to joining Harrison Street, Mr. Sechen was the Assistant Vice President of Information Technology at IES Abroad, an international study abroad firm where he oversaw global technology operations. Mr. Sechen began his career as a Messaging Operations Manager at Motorola and moved on to become a Senior Technology Consultant for Computer Sciences Corporation where he worked for many large clients across a broad range of industries. Mr. Sechen graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Computer Technology and an AS in Organizational Leadership.
