Ms. Tonnessen joined the firm in 2020. As a Director in the Asset Management group, based in London, she is responsible for the management of relationships with operating and development partners and the performance of the investments themselves. Prior to joining Harrison Street, Ms. Tonnessen was a Senior Asset Manager at Franklin Templeton Investments, where she was responsible for the management of the European properties and for overseeing JV investments. Before joining Franklin Templeton, Ms. Tonnessen was a Senior Asset Manager at Heitman Financial in Europe and worked on a number of investments across multiple geographies and property sectors, including self storage and senior housing. Ms. Tonnessen holds a BBA from The University of Texas and an MBA from Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College.
