Mr. Hasek joined the firm in 2020. As Director and Associate General Counsel, based in London, he advises Harrison Street on all legal aspects of its European business, including transaction structuring, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, asset-management and compliance. Mr. Hasek joins Harrison Street on a long-term secondment from DLA Piper UK LLP, where he currently serves as Legal Director. Prior to joining Harrison Street, Mr. Hasek was Counsel at Weil, Gotshal & Manges in London (including secondments at PSP Investments and HgCapital), where he advised on a broad range of domestic and international acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and consortium arrangements across a range of sectors, including real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, infrastructure, financial services, TMT, retail, education and services. Mr. Hasek holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Bristol, a Graduate Diploma in Law and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from BPP, and is a qualified solicitor (England & Wales).
