Thomas A. Carver founded Harren Equity Partners based upon his belief that companies with less than $100 million in revenues needed not only better access to capital, but more importantly needed investment partners who understood the unique issues facing companies of that size. Tom currently manages all aspects of the investment and portfolio management process at Harren.Prior to founding Harren, Tom Carver was a Partner with H.I.G. Capital in Miami, Florida, a successful private equity firm with over $2.0 billion in equity capital under management and investments in more than 50 portfolio companies. Tom received a Bachelor of Science with Distinction from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, where he was elected Beta Gamma Sigma. He received a Masters in Business Administration from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
