Ryan Gunther joined HarbourVest in 2004 and focuses on buyout, venture capital, and credit partnership investments in the US and emerging markets. He serves on the advisory boards of funds managed by AE Industrial Partners, American Industrial Partners, Fortissimo Capital, Genstar Capital, Kelso & Company, Lerer Hippeau Ventures, Nautic Partners, Pamlico Capital, Parthenon Capital, Peninsula Capital Partners, Spark Capital, SK Capital, and Symphony Technology Group. Additionally, Ryan serves as a member of the Philanthropic Board of Advisors for Boston Children’s Hospital. Prior to joining the Firm, Ryan spent three years with Market Metrics, a Boston-based strategy consulting firm that advises senior managers at leading asset management and insurance firms. Ryan received a BA in Economics from Williams College in 2001 and an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School in 2010.
