Richard Conklin joined HarbourVest in 2021 and focuses on direct co-investments and general legal support for business and operational matters. Prior to joining the Firm, Richard spent over nine years at Ropes & Gray LLP, where he represented clients in direct co-investments, mergers and acquisitions, and special situation investments. Richard received a Bachelor of Arts (magna cum laude) in International Studies from Boston College in 2007 and a Juris Doctorate (magna cum laude) from Boston College in 2011. Richard is a member of Boston College’s chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.
