Michael Guiness joined HarbourVest in 2015 and focuses on sourcing, reviewing, executing, and monitoring direct co-investments. Michael spent over one year working in HarbourVest’s Tokyo office, where he supported the Firm’s global activities and enhanced relationships with Japanese investors. He returned to the Boston office in 2019. In addition to his time at HarbourVest, Michael’s prior experience includes working at Harris Williams & Co., where he was an analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions, Technology, Media, and Telecom Group. Michael received a BS (summa cum laude) in Business Administration from Babson College in 2013.
