John Morris joined the Firm in 1996 and specializes in US buyout, venture, and private debt partnership investments. John serves on the advisory boards of several partnerships including those managed by ABRY Partners, The Blackstone Group, Court Square Capital, GTCR, Hellman & Friedman, Marlin Equity Partners, Providence Equity Partners, Sun Capital, and Windjammer Capital. He has also served on the Board of Directors of NASDAQ-listed Applied Molecular Evolution, Inc. John joined the Firm from Abbott Capital Management and has also served as a vice president in the Corporate Finance Department at CIBC. John received a BA in Economics from Clark University in 1986 and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University in 1994.
