Eric Simas joined HarbourVest in 2011 and rejoined HarbourVest’s primary team in 2016 after completing his MBA. Eric focuses on US venture, buyout, and credit investments, including the evaluation, due diligence, and monitoring of partnerships. Eric’s previous experience includes positions at John Hancock Financial Services, where he was a fund-of-funds investment analyst and at The Michel-Shaked Group, where he was a senior analyst. Eric received a BS (summa cum laude) in Business Administration from Boston University in 2007 and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2016. In 2011, he received the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations.
