Bio

Dan Buffery joined HarbourVest in 2016 and focuses on global infrastructure and real asset investments. Dan currently serves on a number of advisory boards. Dan joined the Firm after almost ten years with OPTrust Private Markets Group in Toronto and London where he was a director and a member of the Private Markets Investment Committee. During that time, Dan was responsible for sourcing, analyzing, executing, and managing infrastructure investments across a range of transaction types. Dan started his career as an investment banking associate at the National Bank of Canada, a Canadian charted bank-owned investment dealer. He received a BBA (with honours) from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2002 and is a CFA charter holder. He speaks conversational French.
