Bio

Bryce Klempner joined HarbourVest in 2022 to help direct the firm’s strategy and lead innovation of new investment products and solutions. Bryce joined from McKinsey & Co., where he served as co-head of the global institutional investor practice, advising pensions, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, family offices, and others. He led McKinsey’s work serving private equity firms on their strategy, organization, operations, and other firm-level topics, while co-leading the firm’s efforts supporting investors on ESG and sustainable investing. He also oversaw McKinsey’s global research on private market asset classes. Earlier in his career he spent time at Goldman Sachs in Japan and PE GPs in India and China. Bryce received a BA in East Asian Studies from Harvard University and a JD from Harvard Law School. He is proficient in French, Italian, and Japanese.
