Andrea Simsik joined HarbourVest in 2024 to lead firmwide product strategy, including product research & development and portfolio planning. Andrea has over 15 years of experience in financial services and business strategy. At Goldman Sachs, she conducted manager due diligence in the Alternative Investments & Manager Selection group, and served both institutional and private wealth clients as a Fixed Income Product Manager. During her tenure at McKinsey & Co., she led strategic assessments, corporate restructuring, and large-scale operational transformations. Most recently, Andrea spent time at Google leading payments strategy and at a startup RIA, Arta Finance, building a digital Alternative Investments platform. Andrea received an MBA in Management and Operations from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a BS (magna cum laude) in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University. She is a conversational speaker of Mandarin Chinese.
